13 - Adding Two Vectors Graphically in Physics (Vector Sum & Resultant Vectors)
View more lessons like this at http://www.MathTutorDVD.com In this lesson, we will learn how to add vectors graphically in order to find the sum of two vectors. This process is called finding the resultant vector. In this process, the vectors are drawn head to tail and then the resultant vector is drawn from the tail of the first vector to the head of the second vector. We calculate the sum of vectors for many purposes. We might add two forces together or add two displacement vectors. We can even add angular momentum vectors or add velocity vectors. The process works for any two vectors that should be added together to solve physics problems.
