More Lessons: http://www.MathAndScience.com Twitter: https://twitter.com/JasonGibsonMath In this lesson, you will learn how to handle inverse trig functions when they arise in calculus. We will cover the inverse sine function, called ArcSin, the inverse Cosine function which is called the ArcCos. We will also cover other inverse trig functions such as ArcTan, ArcSec, and more. The core topic we need to cover is what range of values (angles) do these functions return when we use them? Because the trig functions are all cyclic in nature, we need to be careful to define the range of values that these functions return so that they can all be defined as a function, which can return only one output (angle) for any given input value.
