Physics 1 Course - Unit 3 - Motion with Constant Acceleration

12 - Free Fall Motion Physics Problems (Gravitational Acceleration), Part 1

Get more lessons like this at http://www.MathTutorDVD.com In this lesson, we learn how to solve problems that involve falling objects due the the acceleration of gravity. We use the same equations of motion as before for the constant acceleration problems. However, the acceleration that we use is denoted "g" and is the acceleration due to gravity. Because of this, the motion is purely in the y-direction, which is vertical. Other than these small changes, the problems are solved in a similar way as done previously.
